Midland Winery Opening for Business
Midland, TX, August 01, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Texas Sun Winery will open its doors on August 4th as the newest Waters Edge Winery Affiliate. The winery is located at 3415 North Loop 250 West, Suite 305, Midland TX 79707. It offers guests a wide range of hand-crafted wines made at Texas Sun Winery using grapes grown around the world.
The proprietors of the winery, Kevin & Teresa Miller, spent almost 2 years creating the perfect location to bring the winery experience and lifestyle to the city of Midland. Their partners, Jim and Sue Ann Krass, have joined them in their dream of providing Midland with this new winery featuring a tasting bar, as well as a comfortable indoor seating area and a natural indoor/outdoor seating area. Kevin commented, “Midland is a unique city with its own character. As long-time residents of the area, we believe Texas Sun Winery will bring an amazing local winery experience to our friends and neighbors in the community.”
The winery will offer light food fare in the bistro kitchen. Featuring Boar’s Head Brands quality meats and cheeses, the winery will serve a variety of charcuterie platters, flatbreads, salads, sandwiches and desserts. The menu is cleverly organized and labeled to easily pick out a favorite wine to pair with each dish. In addition to traditional whites and reds, Texas Sun Winery is offering a full selection of sangria wines found only at their winery. These wines are mildly off-dry and come in a tantalizing variety of flavors, such as Raspberry Dragon Fruit, Blackberry and Kiwi Pear. After choosing a wine or a flight of tastes, guests are able to relax inside the main tasting room area. The winery is uniquely decorated and features a warm and comfortable ambiance.
The winery has some unique offerings to enhance their guests’ experience. Wines may be custom labeled, from a selection of templates, while guests wait. The staff will create a beautiful label in minutes with a custom message for special events, corporate gifts or just for fun.
Guests may also bottle their own vintage of wine. The winery will list all of the wines being made in their tanks on a menu board in the tasting room area. Guests select one of the wines and after it is finished being made, guests come in to bottle one or more cases to take home and enjoy. Friends and family join to help bottle, creating a unique experience participating in a part of the winemaking process.
Texas Sun Winery will be open 5 days a week, Tuesday – Saturday, and offers an exclusive wine club with members receiving special privileges and discounts at the winery.
