CHHRC to Host the “Stuff The Bus” Parking Lot Party
On August 11th 2018 from 9am to 5pm at the CHHRC headquarters the Cherry Hill Health and Racquet Club is teaming up with the Center for Family Services injunction with the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey to hold a Stuff the Bus event. The goal is to help send southern New Jersey kids back to school with a smile.
Cherry Hill, NJ, August 07, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Cherry Hill Health and Racquet Club is teaming up with the Center for Family Services injunction with the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey to hold a Stuff the Bus Parking lot party.
The Stuff the Bus event will be held at the Cherry Hill Health and Racquet Club (1820 Old Cuthbert Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034) on Saturday, August 11th from 9 AM to 5 PM. Members from the community are being encouraged to come out and donate school supplies to benefit the Center for Family Services’ Project Backpack injunction with United Way. All school supplies will be donated to children in need within southern New Jersey. There will be a school bus on the facility graciously donated by T&L Transportation that everyone in the community as well as the surrounding area will help “stuff” with back to school supplies for children. CHHRC will provide 7 day passes to all that help "stuff the bus." Also provided will be water ice donated by Philadelphia Water Ice Factory, and Mister Softee Ice cream with plenty of giveaways for those in attendance.
The Center for Family Services has been improving the lives of people in the community since 1920. The Center offers services for:
- Early childhood education
- Family support and prevention
- Addiction and recovery
- Community connections
- Counseling and behavioral health
- Safe and supportive housing
- Victims and trauma
- Workforce development
They have more than 70 programs in place throughout 50 locations in the southern end of New Jersey. The United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey is set out to end intergenerational poverty. The United Way aids with early learning, career pathways, economic self-sufficiency, and community stability and advocacy.
Named the 2016 USTA Outstanding Facility of the Year, Cherry Hill Health and Racquet Club is the family-friendly health, fitness, and sports club of South Jersey. The club offers more than 90 group fitness classes a week, state-of-the-art Parisi Speed School for all serious athletes, along with indoor and outdoor tennis courts. Kids can attend summer camps and participate in sports leagues. CHHRC regularly contributes to charitable youth organizations in South Jersey.
