New Commanding General at The U.S. Army Combat Readiness Center to Deliver Briefing at The Defence Safety Conference This October in London

He will be presenting on: “The U.S. Army Combat Readiness Center (USACRC): Maximising Force Protection and Safety,” covering:
• How the USACRC ensures safety for Soldiers and Army civilians
• Training officers in aviation and ground safety
• Accident Investigation and leveraging this for future accident avoidance
• Harnessing safety to ensure the Army’s status as the world’s most ready and capable military force
This conference is the first of its kind, with a specific focus on aviation, land and maritime safety.
Supported by The Defence Safety Authority (DSA), part of the UK Ministry of Defence, the conference will be chaired by: Lieutenant General Richard Felton, Director General, DSA.
When describing the event Lt Gen Richard Felton said:
“The aim of the Conference is to identify and promote ‘what works’ and discuss ‘how we can do better’. Essentially, this includes the safe delivery of defence capabilities and the parts that operational users, equipment and service delivery organisations and research and development play in defence safety. I hope we will identify good practice and those who procure, provide and operate Defence equipment and services will benefit.”
