Load King Sedalia Office Featured as Sedalia Showcase

Sedalia, MO, August 18, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Load King’s Sedalia, Missouri location was featured yesterday as this year’s Sedalia Showcase. Load King LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Custom Truck One Source, opened the new location at 5105 Pelham Drive in May of 2018. The new facility, located in Thomas Meadows Industrial Park, occupies 28,000 square feet of manufacturing and office space.

“We’re honored to be selected as this year’s Sedalia Showcase and have enjoyed partnering with the Sedalia and Pettis County Economic Development Office for this event,” said Dan Nowlin, Vice President of Operations for Load King’s Sedalia facilities.

Load King has been producing heavy equipment solutions in Pettis county since 2008 under the Custom Fabrication and Equipment brand name. In February of 2018, Custom Fabrication was rebranded as Load King, the premier manufacturing arm of Custom Truck One Source.

For 14 consecutive years, community and state partners have joined forces during the Sedalia Showcase to highlight business opportunities available in Sedalia and Pettis County, Missouri. Organized as a strategic initiative of Economic Development Sedalia-Pettis County, the Sedalia Showcase was excited to feature Load King this year as a leading employer in the region. “Sedalia and Pettis County are thrilled to partner with Load King to celebrate the launch of this new manufacturing facility,” said Jessica Craig, Executive Director of Economic Development Sedalia-Pettis County.

Activities during the event included a ribbon cutting for the new facility, guided facility tours and lunch. During the tours, visitors had the opportunity to view Load King’s new manufacturing facility where they produce a variety of products for Load King’s specialized equipment line. Completed trucks were displayed, giving visitors an opportunity to see Load King products installed and ready to go to work.
