HCA/HealthONE’s Swedish Medical Center Announces New Vice President of Operations
Tyler Hood brings extensive program management experience to Swedish Medical Center, a 408 bed level 1 trauma center located in Englewood, Colorado.
Englewood, CO, August 22, 2018 --(PR.com)-- HCA/HealthONE’s Swedish Medical Center announced that Tyler Hood has been selected as vice president of operations after a nationwide search. Hood has extensive experience creating hospital operational and management improvements, and will begin his new role September 1, 2018.
Hood began his career with the HCA National Group in 2012 as Management Engineer of the West Florida Division. In 2014, he moved to the HCA/HealthONE Continental Division where he led the development and implementation of various initiatives in performance improvement and labor management. In 2016 Hood joined Swedish Medical Center as associate administrator which included various projects in support of the executive team, including the implementation of the surgical robotics service line.

In his new role as a key member of the executive leadership team, Tyler will oversee the development and implementation of day to day operations at Swedish Medical Center.

Tyler graduated from the University of Tennessee and received a Master’s of Business Administration from The University of Tampa. He is active in the community and lives in Denver with his dog, Winston.
