Ana Stasia, Canadian R&B Singer from the Gaspé Makes Headlines
Montreal, Canada, August 30, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Singer-songwriter and actress Ana Stasia is proud to announce the release of her debut album "Best Life - EP," now available for purchase and streaming on iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, Tidal and YouTube Music.
The collection - an ode to millennials with threads of pop and reggeaton - listeners have already described as "fierce," "incredible" and "a definite hit!" Though, Ana Stasia's industry success comes as little surprise. Already by the age of seventeen, the Caribbean-Canadian artist had received the Governor General's Award from Jamaica for excellence in the Arts, and had become the first Quebec teenager to have ever performed at Carnegie Hall.
In a recent interview with the Montreal Community Contact, Ana Stasia reaffirmed that "the goal is to make it big on the musical stage. I would love to be doing international tours and selling out venues such as Madison Square Garden."
Ana Stasia released her first original single, "One Heart," back in the summer of 2016, a portion of which proceeds are being donated to Project BeamOn, a Toronto-based Charity offering support for patients undergoing cancer treatment around the globe.
In the Spring of 2017, the multi-talented artist obtained a music artist development deal with Grammy Award-winning producers Alex Houton and Brian Vibberts and was featured on the release of Grammy nominated and award-winning songwriter and producers Lynx and GC's "Dangerous to Love," prior to signing on with Big Noise for creative and music PR.
Her notable performance venues include the Duke of Edinburgh International Award Gold & Silver Gala in Montreal, Quebec, accompanied by legendary jazz pianist Dr. Oliver Jones; Place-des-Arts; the Office of the Bahamian High Commission; Montreal International Jazz Festival; Los Angeles Classic Jazz Festival; the Queen Mary Ship; Frank Sinatra's Twin Palms Estate; and the New York City Bound for Broadway Showcase, among others. Ana Stasia can also be seen appearing on numerous hit television shows including "Scandal," "Black-ish," "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" and "S.W.A.T."
