Valiant Commits to Quality with ISO 9001:2015 Certification
Oklahoma City, OK, September 09, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Valiant, an industry leader in artificial lift solutions, is pleased to announce that it has earned ISO 9001:2015 certification for the company’s Oklahoma-based facilities in Norman and downtown Oklahoma City.
To ensure that customers get consistent, good-quality products and services, the ISO 9001:2015 certification requires a company to have a quality management program that meets the organization’s standards, underpinned by the seven principles of Customer Focus; Leadership; Engagement of People; Process Approach; Improvement; Evidence-Based Decision Making; and Relationship Management.
To build an effective quality program at Valiant, Larry Holdge, Vice President of Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ), and the implementation team ensured that every procedure was created with Valiant’s culture and customers in mind. “No system or process is going to be effective if it is too cumbersome or too obscure to incorporate into day-to-day activities. With the help of our employees and management, we have a robust and growth-driven system in place to keep quality at the forefront of our business,” said Holdge.
Meeting customer expectations and delivering customer satisfaction are at the heart of the ISO 9001:2015 standards, so it’s little surprise that Valiant was well-prepared for this qualification. The certification process is extensive, involving interviews of key personnel, facility audits, as well as a review of documentation and an assessment of the company’s quality programs. Over the course of a few months, Valiant demonstrated proficiency in each of the seven quality principles and acquired ISO 9001:2015 certification for the company’s Global Headquarters in Oklahoma City, Mid-Con Manufacturing & Service Center in Norman, and Mid-Con Cable Center in Norman. With the two Mid-Con facilities hitting their one-year mark in September, this is one more milestone that highlights the company’s outstanding achievements to date.
In November of 2017, the company’s Latin America Manufacturing & Service Center in Bogotá, Colombia, received both ISO 9001:2015 and 14001:2015 certifications, with ISO 14001:2015 setting the standard for environmental management systems in Latin America.
