Education New Zealand and Go Overseas Offer Five Scholarships to Study in New Zealand
Berkeley, CA, September 12, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Go Overseas and Education New Zealand are running the 5th annual promotion to offer five full-tuition scholarships (https://www.gooverseas.com/scholarships/new-zealand) to study abroad in New Zealand.
Five well-deserving students will have the opportunity to live abroad, expand their cultural competencies and add a valuable asset to their resume - all for free. In addition, STA Travel will be sponsoring two of the student’s round-trip flights. Two undergraduate and three graduate students will be selected to win this year’s scholarships.
After four years of running the promotion, Go Overseas has helped increase the amount of students studying in New Zealand by over 40%. “We’re incredibly excited that the New Zealand government shares our enthusiasm about international education and it’s so rewarding to offer such a meaningful scholarship. Ultimately, Go Overseas strives to provide transparency across the board for our users and this is a really fun and unique way for our organization to make a direct impact,” says Mitch Gordon, Co-Founder and CEO of Go Overseas.
The paperless scholarship application is unlike a traditional essay format. The goal is to get students engaged and excited about New Zealand from the get-go so even if they don’t win the scholarship, they will still be interested in studying abroad.
Students can find eligibility criteria, information about the prestigious New Zealand universities they can attend, and learn about what it’s like to live in the island nation. During the application, students can choose whether they’d like to apply for Spring, Summer or Fall 2019. They can also select up to three programs, either directly through a university or a study abroad program provider. The final step is to submit a high quality essay and New Zealand themed photo.
