New Digital Short Film by HotelierCo Shines the Spotlight on Cape May

HotelierCo to debut seasonal film showcasing city and seaside resort attractions in support of real estate investment opportunity.

Cape May, NJ, September 13, 2018 --(PR.com)-- In an effort to build anticipation for an all-new real estate investment opportunity, hotel crowdfunding company, HotelierCo, has teamed up with Awakened Films to create an immersive experience in Cape May, New Jersey.

"The Cape May Experience" speaks to the hearts and minds of local residents, tourists and potential investors by starting to reveal the essence of the city. The clip targets likely investors with a youthful spirit, who value authenticity and are drawn to brands they can relate to, connect with, or admire. The short film is directed by Jason Schuler, whose credits include projects with CBS, the YMCA, the National Kidney Foundation and Dr. Oz.

"Combining the creative approaches of two cutting-edge businesses allowed a whole new world of prospects to open up, and thus, the Cape May Experience was born," noted Gillian Schuler, Co-Owner of Awakened Films. "Through HotelierCo's pioneering strategy to hospitality investment and Awakened Film's unique storytelling ability, future investors gain not just a succinct insight into the opportunity that awaits them in Cape May, but their taste buds are tantalized by the promise of their future experience as hotel owners!"

Filmed over a four-day period at landmarks including Cape May's Historic District, Cove Beach and Washington Street Mall, viewers can anticipate a modern look at a city ripe with Victorian charm. In addition, the video introduces the concept of a becoming a Cape May hotel owner with HotelierCo.

"HotelierCo is on track to be a pioneer in equity crowdfunding. The goal is to streamline the real estate investment process, allowing anyone in the crowd to become a hotel owner, not just wealthy accredited investors," said Nathan Kivi, CEO of HotelierCo. "Our partnerships allow us to offer investment returns with the additional benefit of an unprecedented loyalty program."

By utilizing the Regulation A+ offering legislation introduced in 2015, the crowdfunding platform will allow investment amounts as low as $500 starting this fall, in exchange for hotel ownership. The process from inception to qualification with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) generally takes four to six months before a company may begin raising capital.

The Ewing, in West Cape May, will be the first property available for investments with HotelierCo. The boutique luxury hotel is set to house 23 rooms, a rooftop pool and fine-dining establishment.

As part of HotelierCo's introduction to the Cape May community, the company hosted a mixer at The Rusty Nail, a staple beachfront bar and restaurant. Discussions with local bloggers, media members and community stakeholders focused on the HotelierCo's mission, in addition to plans for its launch in Cape May and beyond.

"In addition to creating a multimedia video that encompasses our brand's story, personality, and philosophy, it was important for us to get to know Cape May in real life as well," noted Jennifer Hambric, Digital Director of HotelierCo. "Connecting with community stakeholders was a great way for us to learn more about this amazing city and all that it has to offer. And, of course, we wanted to reinforce what we learned about Cape May with a compelling film."

The short film is set to debut this fall across multiple digital platforms including http://HotelierCo.com, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram. Clips from the film will run on relevant desktop and mobile sites including ABC.com, CBS.com and Forbes.com. Promotional assets will also feature pre-roll placements on websites that appeal to targeted audiences.
