2018 Oregon Teacher Inservice Bulletin Published Calendar of Events for Oregon Teacher Inservice Day

The 2018 Oregon Teacher Inservice Bulletin is the official and most comprehensive guide to finding all the teacher professional development courses, conferences and workshops that are scheduled for that day, and throughout the school year. On Oregon Teacher Inservice Day, professional development inservice courses, workshops and conferences are offered throughout much of the state on a wide variety of topics including classroom management, filmmaking, writing, student behavior management, executive functioning, alternative education, reading skills, diversity, language skills, motivation and much more.

Professional development inservice opportunities cover Grades Pre-K through 12. Teachers and other educators can earn college undergraduate and graduate credit and Professional Development Units (PDUs) through many of the events.

The 30 year-old Oregon Teacher Inservice Bulletin was originally published in print and dessiminated by the Oregon Department of Education until budget concerns in the 1990s made it necessary to find a community partner to take over the publication. Longtime Woodburn, Oregon teacher and counselor training company, Youth Change Professional Development Workshops was recently passed the responsibility for the Bulletin from the local non-profit who had overseen the publication for decades. Youth Change Workshops publishes the Bulletin as a community service to the K-12 education community. No public funds are used in the development or publication of the Bulletin. Youth Change provides national live workshops, online workshops, and publishes posters, books and ebooks for teachers and counselors.
