Human Development Center Needs Volunteers & Donors for Tampa Street Revitalization Project Starting September 29th, 2018
Tampa charity needs volunteers & donors for a revitalization project for their Tampa Street Headquarters, plan include interior & exterior renovations and a custom sculpture donated by Rustic Steel Creations.
Tampa, FL, September 15, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Driving by the simple green block building along North Tampa street, you would never know the miracles taking place daily. For 40 years, nestled in Tampa Heights, a nonprofit-organization known as the Human Development Center (HDC) has been opening a world of possibilities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, teaching the behaviors and skills they need to live independently.
Just like the lives they transform daily, it’s time for a transformation to the organization’s headquarters located at 3809 North Tampa Street. With help from the community, volunteers, and donations they are hoping to update the interior and enhance the exterior, which will include a new look and customized sculpture donated by Rustic Steel Creations.
This revitalization project begins with a Community Paint Day scheduled for Saturday, September 29th from 8AM-1PM. Lowes of East Brandon will be onsite donating paint, volunteers, and supplies. HDC invites the community to become part of this project. Come out to paint, learn about their mission serving the disabled and be a part of something special.
For more information or to donate, please contact Nicole Smith Pellegatti at 813-872-6250, ext. 106.
