Edinburgh Airport Parking - the Green Option

Gatwick, United Kingdom, March 16, 2008 --(PR.com)-- FHR, a leading travel services company, has announced today the addition of a new green option to their range of Edinburgh Airport Parking services.

The service is operated by Secure AirParks which has recently become a carbon balanced company ensuring that their emissions from operating the secure car park and transfer buses are offset with investments in projects setup by the World Land Trust (WLT).

The WLT projects include Reforestation through the planting of over 500,000 native trees in countries such as Ecuador, Brazil and Paraguay as well as initiatives to prevent further cutting down of standing forest areas. The WLT believes that by working with company’s such as Secure AirParks they can increase the capacity of the CO2 absorbing forest areas to such a level that it can reduce the current impact of global warming.
