Bloomex Sponsors Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure 2018
Ottawa, Canada, September 20, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Bloomex is proud to be a sponsor of the Canadian Cancer Society’s CIBC Run for the Cure on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at 56 run sites across Canada. Bloomex is delighted to provide pink carnations to all breast cancer survivors on Run day. In addition, the Bloomex FlowerNite team will be on site in Toronto offering participants and spectators free pink-themed flower arranging workshops and fun giveaways.
The CIBC Run for the Cure began in 1992, with a small group of volunteers in Toronto’s High Park. Today, it’s the largest single day, volunteer-led event in the support of the breast cancer cause. In 2017 around 85,000 participants came together in communities across Canada to raise an incredible $17 million for breast cancer research and support programs to ensure no one faces breast cancer alone. Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among Canadian women. The CIBC Run for the Cure provides patients, families and friends the chance to honour loved ones while making a promise to make breast cancer beatable.
