Clearwater Community Volunteers Center Goes Organic with Home Gardening Workshop with Garden Clubs
Clearwater, FL, September 22, 2018 --(PR.com)-- On September 23, the Clearwater Community Volunteers Center is hosting a free organic gardening workshop to local nonprofit garden clubs featuring Ms. Jai McFall. Guests will learn how to grow organic foods, with little to no chemicals, to live healthier lives. Ms. McFall has been in the organic gardening industry for over 50 years and uses her knowledge of the subject to deliver educational workshops to schools, non-profits, and garden clubs to improve overall food quality in her community.
This is the fourth workshop that Ms. McFall has delivered in the Clearwater Community Volunteer Center. It features information on the “dirty dozen” of produce that are most likely to carry high level of pesticides and toxins, as well as a hands-on portion that allows guests to pot their own plant.
Jai has over 20 different workshops and educational seminars that give information on health and food related topics such as how to restore proper vitamin and mineral content to your garden soil, or composting all natural fertilizer to grow healthy plants without the need for chemically imbued fertilizer.
“Ms. McFall gives her experience and knowledge on a volunteer basis for the Clearwater Community Volunteers Center so that local garden clubs have the knowledge they need to live healthier lives and reduce chemicals being introduced into our environment,” said Mr. Michael Soltero, Manager of the Center. “By giving education on this subject Ms. McFall is exemplifying what Humanitarian and Scientology Founder, L. Ron Hubbard, wrote, ‘Care of the planet begins in one’s own front yard. It extends through the area one travels to get to school or work.’”
