Filtertech to Unveil Their New Spent Polish & Alloy Water Treatment System at Vision Expo West
Filtertech to debut their latest system and first of its kind: The LGEN-PAL, a spent polish and alloy water treatment system to further expand their Clarifying Systems for the Optical Industry.
Manlius, NY, September 27, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Filtertech will be exhibiting at Vision Expo West (Booth #LP13108) at the Sands Expo & Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada on September 26-29, 2018 to promote their Clarifying Systems for the Optical Industry. During the event, Filtertech will debut their latest system and first of its kind: The LGEN-PAL.
Fully automatic with rolling casters for easy mobility, the LGEN-PAL is designed for all lens generating labs to easily treat spent polish and alloy waste water all in one system. The LGEN-PAL reclaims clean water from both alloy water and spent polish together at the same time. The treatment allows thick, dry waste to be thrown away as a solid waste and clean water to be safely put down the drain.
With the possibility of fines being imposed as high as $50,000 for improper disposal, optical labs need to safely treat their alloy and spent polish water. With the creation of this new, easy-to-use system, Filtertech meets the demands of high-efficiency lens generation by safely removing waste. The LGEN-PAL system eliminates the high cost of outside source spent polish and alloy water removal.
"We are all very excited for the release of our new LGEN-PAL system," said System Developer, Jamal El-Hindi. "With growing concerns of environmental impact, I am proud to be part of a team that is constantly creating easier, safer, and more cost-efficient solutions. The LGEN-PAL is another way in which Filtertech helps the optical industry stay green while helping them save green."
The LGEN-PAL will be operating at Filtertech’s booth. Another unit will be on display at the PSI Booth (#LP6085). Other filtration equipment that Filtertech manufacturers specifically for the lens generation industry, include: the LGEN-P, a high efficiency coolant filter with single discharge point of heavy and fine solids; the LGEN-BR, a high efficiency swarf briquetter with 20:1 reduction; the LGEN-V, for high efficiency coolant filtration using vacuum; and the LGEN-CFS, that automatically mixes your water and coolant to a percentage and doses with defoamer to keep the system running effectively on its own.
