Pequannock Skatepark Association Holds Family BBQ & Skate Jam Fundraiser

Pequannock Township, NJ, October 02, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Pequannock Skatepark Association is holding the First Annual “Boards and BBQ” on Sunday, October 14th from 11am – 3pm. The event will feature a pop-up skatepark for skateboards, scooters, and bikes. Steady Sound System will be DJing records. There will also be face painting and crafts for young children.

$10 tickets to this event provide a free T-shirt commemorating the event and access to food. Kids under the age of 3 years old receive free admission. Tickets can be purchased up until Oct. 7th in advance through the Pequannock Skatepark Association's website. Ticket sales will benefit the Pequannock Skatepark Association. Attendees are asked to bring canned food for the Pequannock Township Food Pantry.

The Pequannock Skatepark Association is a 501C3 non-profit and seeks to build a quality public skatepark in Pequannock Township, NJ that would serve the local youth with a goal to expand on our current skateboard lessons and youth programs. The Pequannock Skatepark Association seeks to promote a healthy and active lifestyle, increase social integration, improve social cohesion and increase volunteering with a goal to educate and engage the public on the health and community benefits of skateboarding.
