California Landlords Summit on Homelessness Announces Full Speaker Lineup

Bakersfield, CA, October 10, 2018 --(PR.com)-- The California Landlord's Summit On Homelessness today announced its lineup of speakers. This event will bring together hundreds of the state’s leading landlords, property owners and homeless service providers to learn and make a difference in their communities.

The summit will kickoff with remarks by Kern County Housing Authority Executive Director, Stephen Pelz. That will be followed by presentations from the Kern County Housing Collaborative and the Income Property Association of Kern.

Summit goers will then be able to choose between several workshops including a town hall with elected officials and a legal workshop. Over 25 presenters from the private and public sector will educate landlords on all aspects of renting to homeless individuals.

Proceedings will conclude with lunch service and two keynote addresses. First, Greg Terzakis of the California Apartment Association will discuss rent control and homelessness. Finally, Coconut Joe’s founder, Joe Coughlin will offer an inspiring message about how entrepreneurs can be leaders in the fight against homelessness.
