EquityBeGone.com Launches Free Real Estate Listing Services
Upon the recent relaunch, EquityBeGone.com now boasts a real estate listing service with various membership levels including a free one. The free membership allows one to list up to 10 properties for free for 180 days with up to 4 photos each.
Chicago, IL, March 18, 2008 --(PR.com)-- When EquityBeGone.com started it was a creative financing forum where hungry investors can learn about creative financing techniques without hiring a mentor or joining a training seminar.
After steadily growing a dedicated community EquityBeGone.com went down for heavy maintainance. Upon the recent relaunch, the website now boasts a real estate listing service with various membership levels including a free one. The free membership allows you to list up to 10 properties for free for 180 days with up to 4 photos each.
EBG owner Brandon Connell is excited about the new service. "When I started out, I was wet behind the ears" says Brandon. "I was literally 3 months behind on rent in a small one bedroom upstairs apartment and we had a 4 year old and a newborn baby boy. It was Christmas time and I decided that I had to make a change. I wrote an offer on a 5,000 square foot mansion for $40,000 with zero down and 100% seller financing. It was a long shot but I was confident because by then I was an expert in creative financing techniques. The sellers initially rejected the offer. I resubmitted the same exact offer less than 1 week later and the sellers accepted it."
With the recent mortgage mishaps it is tough for sellers to unload their home. And when a person is in a position where they are forced to sell their home they do not have the funds for listing fees on fsbo sites or even realtors.
"I wanted to create a free service where anyone can go in and post their property in all it's glory without spending a dime. My goal is to be the Craigslist of the real estate industry" says Brandon.
EquityBeGone.com is a completely ad supported website, but the ads are not pushed on visitors. They are appropriately placed on the sides and above the content as to not get in the way of the buyer or seller. "The idea was to generate an income from the website while allowing visitors to get straight to the real estate properties without other stuff getting in the way."
Brandon says, "EBG will continue to have a free membership option for as long as I am the owner of the company."
