Pet Wants Olathe Gives Back with "Buy, Match, Give" Program

Now, to build on that commitment, Pet Wants Olathe is excited to announce that they’re offering a new donation program – “Buy, Match, Give.”

Pet Wants food is made fresh monthly, with a shelf life of 12-14 months, but Pet Wants Olathe only keeps the food for 4 months, having established that as their “freshness cutoff” for paying customers, and then donates anything left in inventory to shelters or rescues in the area so that they can have good, quality food as well. In order to get even more nutrient-dense food where it’s needed, Pet Wants Olathe is partnering with local animal rescues and then asking customers to help collect food for those rescues by purchasing an additional pound of food when they order. Pet Wants Olathe will then match that extra pound of food with their own donation and add both pounds to the amount being given to the rescue. Pet Wants Olathe will be partnering with a variety of rescues with this ongoing program, and “Buy, Match, Give” donations will be rotated to different rescues and shelters monthly.
