GoalFriends Hosts Social Event to Raise Money
GoalFriends Gathering raises money to benefit GoalFriends Global and Hurricane Florence clean-up.
Raleigh, NC, October 17, 2018 --(PR.com)-- GoalFriends Gathering Benefits Non-Profit and Hurricane Efforts
The GoalFriends Gathering has successfully raised enough money to launch in the country of Taiwan, as well as help fund clean-up efforts in eastern North Carolina from Hurricane Florence. The event, held at Oxford Green at Lafayette Village, was organized to support the GoalFriends Global Foundation whose mission is to expand groups around the world. Wines for Humanity was also on hand and donated its wine proceeds to Judy’s Bubbles, a foundation for patients at UNC Children’s Hospital.
The evening was highlighted with live music by local musicians and a couple GoalFriends members. A special moment was a performance by GoalFriend Esperanza Harper, who sang “Dream Big,” a song she wrote in honor of GoalFriends. Harper says, “It’s been something I’ve always wanted to do for GoalFriends and with their love and support, I’m finally bold enough to do it. I’m thankful I could reveal the song at this special event for a good cause.”
GoalFriends, which launched in 2010, is a global personal development program that is designed for women who want more out of their lives. Through the use of a step-by-step, goal-setting workbook, groups of like-minded women meet monthly to gain clarity on what they want their life to look like. Each self-facilitated group of between 6-12 women serves as a mini-mastermind or personal "think tank" for new ideas and opportunities. Women share their brilliance by inspiring and mentoring each other through the program. GoalFriends encourages women to connect authentically in an open, safe environment. It is the transformative tribe women have been waiting for.
