Boston, MA, October 25, 2018 --(PR.com)-- A new tech startup called Delivery Auto Care has launched in the Boston area, and hopes to disrupt the auto repair industry by making it, well, automated.
Delivery Auto Care allows users to skip the hassle of waiting for hours at the auto shop for a brake check or oil change by getting their auto repairs done to go. Users go on to www.deliveryautocare.com, book their service and select a time slot. Then, a Delivery Auto Care employee will arrive at the vehicle’s location, pick it up, get it repaired and drop it off. The company has partnered with numerous certified auto shops in the Boston area to do repairs ranging from brakes, to tire changes and rotations, to oil changes and wheel alignments.
“We’re in the hassle-saving business,” says Deliver Auto Care founder Benjamin McPherson. “People hate the hassle of finding an auto shop and waiting for their car to get repaired. Repair shops hate having to wait for clients to come through the door. We come along and help everybody in the process get what they need and save them all the hassle. That’s a good feeling.”
Auto repair shops seem to be feeling good about the deal. Pep Boys, Firestone, Bridgestone, NTB, and O’Reilly Auto Parts are just a few of the shops that have signed on as Delivery Auto Care partners.
“Consumers today are big on things being delivered,” says McPherson. “We have Uber and Lyft to move people around, Favor and GrubHub to deliver food and other items, and you can get just about anything from Amazon. Now, thanks to us, you can get your car repaired just as easily.”
