Christy Johnson Celebrity Guest Appearance Announcement

Roanoke, VA, November 01, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Christy Johnson has officially been announced as a celebrity guest at the 2019 The Big Lick Comic-Con. Christy is an up-and-coming triple threat in the film, stage, and music industries. Her most notable film roles include "Dottie" in "Tobe Hooper’s Mortuary," "Lucifer" in "Hatchet County," "Faith" in "The Gospel According To Booze, Bullets & Hot Pink Jesus," and "Loraine" in "Orbs: They Are Among Us." The latter two roles afforded her the accolades of “Best Actress” and the KillURide Film Festival in 2012 and 2014. Look for her in upcoming releases as "Judy Hartley" in "Night of The Living Dead: Genesis," “Brie Kelly” in “Beneath The Old Dark House” and "Scary Carrie Carmichael" in the much anticipated feature film "GHOST TREK" [currently in pre-production].

Christy is also the frontwoman of the nationally touring melodic hard rock band, Dreamkiller. Dreamkiller presents elements of soulful melodies, jazzy harmonies, catchy rock hooks and prides themselves on colorful lyrics that include positive themes of strength, perseverance, conquering your fears head-on, as well as pushing with no limits to accomplish your goals. The band features members from world touring acts Great White, Bang Tango and Mr. Big’s Eric Martin. Through that endeavor she has been recognized with numerous awards, including 2010 Los Angeles Music Awards National Female Vocal Performer of The Year and 2013 International Music & Entertainment Awards Rock Female Vocalist of The Year.

The two day event runs February 9 through 10, 2014 at the Berglund Center in Roanoke, VA.
