ProPath to Participate in National Compliance and Ethics Week; Planned Events to Focus on the Importance of Acting Lawfully and Ethically
Corporate Compliance and Ethics Week, November 4-10, 2018
Dallas, TX, November 01, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Keeping up its tradition of encouraging employees to follow the highest of standards, ProPath announced today that it will be participating in Corporate Compliance and Ethics Week, organized each year by the Society of Corporate Compliance (SCCE) and Ethics and the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA). This year Corporate Compliance and Ethics Week will be held November 4 through 10, 2018. As a part of its efforts, ProPath is encouraging employees to participate in a spot the violation game, spin the compliance wheel for compliant ProPath prizes, and submit their favorite compliance jokes.
“Our success is driven by how our patients and the healthcare community perceive our organization. Having a reputation as a trustworthy and ethical corporation among patients, clients, employees and within the communities in which we serve and live is necessary to maintain the ProPath image. Most importantly, it is who we are, because it is the right thing to do,” said Cory A. Roberts, M.D., President and CEO of ProPath.
Corporate Compliance and Ethics Week is an extension of ProPath’s ongoing compliance and ethics program, which is headed by David Rose, General Counsel and Compliance Officer. ProPath has a code of conduct that all employees are expected to follow. The code calls on employees to, “serve our patients, clients, and co-workers with personal standards consistent with that of ProPath’s values: patient focus, accountability, teamwork, honesty and service (“PATHS”).” Additionally, ProPath employs a company-wide compliance and ethics program that includes education and communications in addition to developing updated compliance and ethics policies that reinforces ProPath’s compliance and ethics’ obligations.
David Rose stated that, “ProPath will utilize Corporate Compliance and Ethics Week by hosting a series of events to spotlight and emphasize our focus on compliance and training. In the ever-challenging healthcare space, it is important that ProPath serves the healthcare community by providing the highest quality of care with the highest ethical standards.”
