Professor John A. Omueti Has Been Honored as a Top Educator by the Global Who's Who

Holbrook, NY, November 09, 2018 --(PR.com)-- John A. Omueti Ph.D. was born November 20, 1948. He earned a B.S., with Honors in Agriculture at the University of Ibadan in 1972, an M.S. in 1974 and his Ph.D. in Agronomy at the University of Illinois in 1976. He is a retired Professor from the University of Ibadan. His expertise is soil mineralogy, chemistry, composting, lecturing, research, administration, consulting and community environmental services. Professor Omueti received a Fellowship Award from the University of Ibadan and has been named Who’s Who in World Agriculture from the Longman Group, UK in 1984. He is on the Board of Trustees of the Nigerian Organic Agriculture Network. Professor Omueti has 100+ articles in referred conference proceedings and Nigerian and overseas journals. He is a member of the Soil Science Society of Nigeria, International Soil Science Society, American Society of Agronomy, Soil Science Society of America, International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements and Founding Member of the Association of Organic Agriculture Practitioners of Nigeria. In his free time, he enjoys reading, soccer, tennis and walking.
