Talbert & Associates Gives Back
Greenville, SC, November 04, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Since opening up in the Greenville market, Talbert and Associates has gained a reputation for being involved in the surrounding community. Most recently, they supported the Annual Anderson County Walk to End Alzheimer’s.
The walk was held on Saturday, September 22nd at 10:00am in Downtown Anderson, SC. Prior to the walk, each sponsor had tables and activities for the attendees to enjoy.
Alzheimer’s affects more than 3 million people every year. The money donated to the Alzheimer’s Association goes not only to finding a cure for the disease but also to helping those who have the disease. This year, Anderson County not only reached their goal of donations for this walk, but exceeded it.
“Our team had never attended a walk like this before, but we had a ton of fun and we got to donate to a good cause,” said McKenzie Talbert, Director of Operations at Talbert and Associates.
Talbert and Associates partnered with US Foods and Old Dominion Assisted Living for the annual Anderson County Walk to End Alzheimer’s to donate and pass out water for the attendees of the walk.
The Alzheimer’s Association is the largest non-profit of Alzheimer’s research, the Association is committed to accelerating the global progress of new treatments, preventions, and ultimately a cure.
When asked why the team wanted to participate in the charity event, Director of Operations, McKenzie Talbert, responded saying that she believes in giving back to the community and helping those who need it the most.
