Amateur Radio Testing in Muscatine, Iowa

Amateur (Ham) Radio is available in and around Muscatine, Iowa. The Muscatine Area VE's (Volunteer Examiners) conduct exams under the ARRL VEC. Exam elements for all classes of license are administered. Pre-registration is requested.

Muscatine, IA, March 09, 2006 --(PR.com)-- The Muscatine Area VE's (Volunteer Examiners) are available for testing for Amateur Radio licenses.

The Muscatine Area VE's conduct exams under the ARRL VEC.  Exam elements for all classes of license are administered.  Pre-registration is requested.

Requirements for all exam sessions:

NCVEC Form 605 must be completed by the candidate and will be provided at the site.
It may also be downloaded from the ARRL VEC.
Examinees must present photo ID or two other forms of ID.
Social Security Number (or a corresponding FCC Licensee ID).
If licensed, bring original and photocopy of current FCC license and / or CSCEs. The FCC Universal Licensing System has provisions for printing a copy of your license from your computer. The ARRL VEC has affirmed that this copy is sufficient for VE use.

Grandfather credit is available for some current or previously licensed individuals. Complete details can be found at ARRL VEC's Grandfather Credit page.

Exam fee for 2006 is $14.00
