NAMWOLF Recognizes Chrysler’s Increased Purchases with Minority Suppliers
The National Association of Minority & Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF) congratulates Chrysler LLC for increasing the amount it purchases from minority suppliers in 2007.
Auburn Hills, MI, March 21, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Chrysler LLC has long been committed to diversity and economic development for diverse suppliers. Over the years, the Company has developed programs to build its minority supplier base. Last year they launched a Diverse Employee Initiative which identifies suppliers committed to workforce diversity. The program has been an enormous success; last year Chrysler awarded these suppliers with 4.8 billion dollars in revenues.
