Foster and Adopted Children to be Awarded Scholarship at Benefit Hosted by Eyes Like Mines Inc.
Eyes Like Mine to Host a Benefit and Gala Event in Arizona.
Phoenix, AZ, November 15, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Eyes Like Mine is proud to host the 1st “Live to Give Christmas Benefit & Gala” on December 2, 2018. The event will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Parsons Leadership Center for Girls and Women at Camp South Mountain in Arizona. Eyes Like Mine is proud to collaborate with Gifted & Created, Girl Scouts, Skyfire Productions, and LCGA to bring awareness to fostered and underprivileged children through the “Live to Give” event.
There are over 19,000 children in the foster care system in Arizona with nearly 600 being removed from their homes every month. Twenty-five percent of children in foster care will age out of the system and only fifty-four percent of foster kids earn a high school diploma. To alleviate some of the hardships these children face, the mission of the Live to Give Christmas Benefit & Gala is to provide college scholarship opportunities and to collect Holiday toys for the foster community. Bathsheba Adams, Eyes Like Mine founder, says the fundraising event “will be filled with live performances, DJ, fashion show, red carpet, silent auction, live music, beverages, hors d’oeuvres, dancing and so much more. Hosted by Michelin Roehl an accomplished host, teacher in the Phoenix Unified School district, and a fost-adopt mother, this will be a night to remember. Rehearsals have started and our guest will enjoy the up and coming talent Phoenix has to offer as well as support a worthy cause.” Dress code for the Live to Give Christmas Benefit & Gala will be formal.
