Michael Terence Publishing Announce the Release of From a Cry to a Sigh by Anthony Henderson
Michael Terence Publishing is excited to announce the release of From a Cry to a Sigh – a true story by Anthony Henderson.
Thame, United Kingdom, November 22, 2018 --(PR.com)-- About From a Cry to a Sigh:
Beginning in 1951, a true story of a boy from nine until seventeen years of age. It shows how his innocence was taken from him and how that led to a series of abuses by others, both physical and sexual. The very people who were supposed to protect him unwittingly contributed to his abuse. There are some dark passages where his life was in grave danger on more than one occasion. All of the events are true and have been confirmed by records from The Irish and UK Governments, The Catholic Church, The US Navy. The Commission to Inquire into Child Abuse, Ireland.
This work is available in multiple formats:

About the Author
Anthony Henderson has passed sixty years of age, and he has finally achieved a lifelong ambition by writing a book.
His early life as a boy and a young man could be described as eventful, and his later life was similar.
In his twenties, he was heavily involved in amateur theatre and produced and directed shows for the Coventry Technical Colleges, he wrote scripts for Revue, and in 1964 he played the part of Maria in William Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night. This performance was to celebrate the birth of the great bard.
He served and qualified in an electrical apprenticeship, and went on to hold various positions in other fields including a test driver for a motor car company. Following positions he held were as technical advisor for an agricultural company, an area manager for Coca-Cola, a publican and finished his career as an electrical contracts manager.
One event he is most proud of was at Harefield Hospital in London.
During a refurbishment of one of the wings of the hospital, he was asked to take over the contract which was running around ten weeks behind.
The previous manager had allowed the men to take extended breaks four times a day, he knew it was going to be difficult to motivate the staff.
Two weeks previously he was in the hospital cafe and a young woman and her little boy of three years were sitting at a table, the boy dropped a toy and Anthony picked it up and gave it to the child. Two weeks later the woman was again in the cafe alone, he asked her, “where is the little boy?” and she replied, “he is dead.” Anthony was devastated.
He called all his electricians, their helpers and the apprentices and told them about the little boy, He then went on to say, for every day that this wing is incomplete, another little boy or a little girl or a brother or a sister or a father or a mother, who could be your family, and they will die if we do not complete on time, I am pleading with you, let us save lives and get this job done, they finished, only three days over the target.
He now lives in “The Kingdom,” a most beautiful place in County Kerry in Ireland. It was once described by that most famous of TV presenters Alan Whicker as “a place which not only lives up to its reputation but surpasses it, even on a rainy day like this.” He will never leave, his ashes are to be scattered into Tralee Bay and become part of the landscape.
