Country Christmas at The Ingleside Hotel Opens November 23, 2018
Pewaukee, WI, November 22, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Nestled in the heart of Southeastern Wisconsin is a holiday destination steeped in festive tradition. Each year, The Ingleside Hotel (formerly Country Springs Hotel) is transformed into a winter wonderland called Country Christmas. Celebrating its 23rd anniversary, Wisconsin’s Largest Drive-Through Christmas Lights Display is sure to provide entertainment for people of all ages.
The year’s holiday celebration runs: November 23-25 & November 30 – December 31, 2018. Hours for the event are 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Holidays. The event is held on the grounds of The Ingleside Hotel located at 2810 Golf Rd., Pewaukee, WI.
Admission includes a trip through the Country Christmas Trail and entrance to Christmas Village and The Streets of Bethlehem located at the end of the trail. Admission is $15 per carload Sunday – Thursday and $20 per carload Friday, Saturday and Holidays. Pricing for passenger vans and limos is $30 and minibus admission is $40. Senior home minibus admission is available for a discounted rate of $25.
Country Christmas features:
The Country Christmas Trail is home to over a million holiday lights festively displayed on a mile-long trail. As you drive through the countryside, there are enchanted animated figures and holiday scenes around every turn. Some guest favorites include:
“Bearville” is an area on the trail where you will find animated teddy bears in various scenes
A captivating 200-foot tunnel of 30,000 computerized, pulsating lights
The Streets of Bethlehem is home to a collection of nearly life-sized Fontanini nativity characters, inspired by the Vatican display. This very serene area of the event cuts to the heart of what Christmas is all about and leaves visitors in awe every year.
Christmas Village is a place where visitors can enjoy a hot cup of cocoa, or an evening treat while looking at animated scenes and a cuddly cast of holiday characters. Guests can enjoy an amazing working model train display that will delight everyone, especially train enthusiasts.
