TechFlow Awarded GSA Contract to Support USDA IT Modernization Centers of Excellence Initiative
Company will take an active role in helping GSA achieve enterprise-level, agency-wide transformation.
San Diego, CA, November 26, 2018 --(PR.com)-- TechFlow Incorporated, a forward-thinking services and solutions company, today announced that the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) awarded the Company a contract to support a GSA-led information technology modernization project for the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).
Created by the White House Office of American Innovation, the Centers of Excellence (CoE) is part of a sweeping government-wide IT modernization plan, providing agencies with consulting, acquisition, and IT engineering services to improve the way agencies design services and interact with their customers. Partnering with industry to quickly scale up capabilities is a key part of the CoE strategy. “We are excited to take an active role with the GSA and USDA to put the agency’s over 1000 systems on a continuous improvement footing,” said Greg Godbout, TechFlow Chief Digital Officer. “To achieve this you need to employ an Agile methodology and a DevSecOps culture. This is where TechFlow shines. We are informed by years of fieldwork, best practice approaches, and a corporate culture of innovation. As a mid-size company, TechFlow brings large-business enterprise capabilities and certifications, with a small business focus on customer relationships, delivery excellence, and program performance. We deliver forward-thinking, state-of-the-art digital solutions as well as the capability to scale for enterprise level support.”
TechFlow has been chosen to assist in infrastructure optimization and cloud adoption and was awarded all four pools: Application Rehosting, Re-platforming, DevSecOps, and Cloud Platform Services.
“The GSA is leading the largest transformation initiative in the federal government,” said Rob Baum, TechFlow Chief Executive Officer. “The USDA, which was chosen as the CoE lighthouse agency, has taken an inspired approach to this modernization effort. They have the leadership and fortitude to get this done and I truly believe this will stand as a model for how the GSA will ultimately transform all the agencies. We are honored to put our experience to work to assist the USDA, the GSA and the Office of Innovation to better serve the American people.”
