Military Spouse Advocacy Network Announces a Diamond Partnership with Defense Credit Union Council
Military Spouse Advocacy Network (MSAN) is proud to announce the Defense Credit Union Council (DCUC) has become a Diamond partner of MSAN. MSAN’s mission is to mentor, educate, empower and support all new military spouses as they begin and continue their journey as a military spouse.
San Antonio, TX, November 30, 2018 --(PR.com)-- MSAN and DCUC will work together to create national and local awareness of the importance of military spouse mentorship, empowerment, education and support. The challenges rooted in developing strong military spouses lies largely in the ability to fill unnoticed gaps that prevent military spouses and their families from receiving the support they need and deserve. With the support of DCUC, MSAN's team of Advocates Mentors will be able to continue to provide peer-to-peer mentorship, trainings, educational videos, classes, toolkits, webinars, blogs, newsletters and virtual events. Starting with a co-branded Blended Retirement System Guide that will be shared with all new program participants.
“The importance of the military spouse in the defense community cannot be overstated—particularly when it comes to family finances and community programs. Defense credit unions are 'all in' with respect to these issues,” said Col (R) Anthony Hernandez, President & CEO at DCUC.
DCUC’s mission is to act as the primary liaison to the Department of Defense for defense credit unions and is the Department's principal conduit to defense credit unions on military bases stateside and overseas. As an integral part of the military community fabric, DCUC and its defense credit unions understand the importance of embracing the full military family.
“We are honored and excited to welcome DCUC as our new Diamond partner. We both share the same passion and dedication to support new military spouses and make sure they receive the mentorship, empowerment, support and education they deserve from day one!” said Verenice Castillo, Founder & President at MSAN.
