UK Content Providers Choose iPoint-Media’s Vitrage Platform for 3G Video Calling Services
Two UK-based content providers have chosen iPoint-media’s Vitrage platform to deliver 3G video calling services.
Newbury, United Kingdom, March 21, 2008 --(PR.com)-- iPoint-media, a provider of live, interactive video applications and delivery platforms for web, mobile and media, announces that two UK-based content providers have contracted All New Video Limited (ANV), a wholly-owned subsidiary of iPoint-media, to deliver their 3G video calling services. The software as a service (SaaS) agreements have the potential to generate several hundred thousand pounds in revenue for iPoint-media over the next two years.
The agreements will enable the UK-based content providers to create, launch and deliver a range of premium interactive 3G video content services on iPoint-media’s Vitrage video calling application platform. The content providers will benefit from Vitrage’s video calling capabilities and the ability to deploy new interactive services without incurring any capital expense.
Joseph Daniel, iPoint-media’s VP Marketing and Sales, commented:
"The availability of iPoint-media’s Vitrage video calling platform via ANV’s SaaS offering is making it possible for content providers to easily expand the reach of their services to 3G mobile users. We are seeing a growing interest in our video calling application platform and SaaS business model and hope to announce several more deals of this type in the coming months.”
iPoint-media’s ANV data centre is used to deliver a range of video calling services for UK and other European customers. The centre currently offers services to content providers, healthcare organizations, telecom operators and media broadcasters.
