WeCutFoam Adding Wide Format Vinyl Printing on 3D Signs, Letters & Logo to Its Line of Services
WeCutFoam has recently purchased the Mutoh 1624X and is adding wide format vinyl printing to its line of services. This high-tech printer eliminates banding, enables to print multi-color vinyl and enriches any foam project with a multi-color art work, thus eliminating the need for manual painting over foam projects.
Sunnyvale, CA, December 03, 2018 --(PR.com)-- WeCutFoam, a subsidiary of Foamlinx LLC and one of California’s leading foam projects fabricator company, announces the addition of wide format printing to its wide line of services, installing the Mutoh 1624X printer, product of the year at SGIA.
Based in Silicon Valley, CA, WeCutFoam provides foam cutting, machining and coating services, specifically fabricating custom signs, logo, dimensional letters, exhibits, displays, props and décor. The company has recently purchased a value jet wide format printer with intelligent interweave technology, which eliminates any horizontal banding as opposed to conventional printers.
“We keep looking for new ways to expand and offer more premium services and innovative experiences to our loyal customers,” said Sigal Barnea, Co-Owner, Foamlinx LLC & WeCutFoam. “By adding this high-technology printer we are now able to create solid vivid prints with seamless solutions and to enables consistency, high performance, and image quality.”
“We are at the end of a great 2018, looking forward to offering even more products and services in 2019 ahead. Next purchase will be a printer that will be able to print directly on the rigid material itself such as on a letter or a sign.”
The wide-format printer is used for vinyl printing, custom printing on signs and letters with combination of 3D and full graphics, banners, décor, decals, stickers and for trade show graphics. It is capable of printing multi-color, thus eliminating the need for manual painting over foam projects. It prints up to 600 sqft/hour with 1440 dpi resolution and cures immediately.
With this new addition to its products line, WeCutFoam is now offering multi-color artwork glued over signs, logo, letters and props and printing on foam, vinyl and reflective media. What used to be considered a complicated job, painting manually over foam is now a simpler task.
The customer is supplying the art work (ai, PDF, EPS files) and those are fed into the printer. Some projects are printed on adhesive vinyl which in turn is glued directly on the foam and other times the vinyl is glued on a foam board that is then glued on the project, all depending on the complexity and curvature of the foam itself.
The wide-format printer can print vinyl of up to 100ft in length by 53” in width. Projects to be fabricated can range from a large wood-like wall, instead of using real wood, to covering a whole car, truck, boat or airplane model. This service adds a new dimension to conventional printers’ capabilities.
It enables any sign shop to extend its services and ignite business growth with innovation, new products and solutions, fabricating signs and logos, scenic displays, theater and television sets, all looking very realistic.
