Allentown, PA, December 06, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Executive Education Academy Charter School in Allentown will begin its inaugural varsity basketball season in a matchup against Delaware Valley High School at Moravian College on December 8. The Raptors basketball season stretches until February 12.
“We anticipate our inaugural winter sports season will give students plenty of opportunities to show off their school spirit and cheer on our student-athletes,” says Mark “Duke” Wagner, athletic director at EEACS.
Earlier in 2018, the Lehigh Valley charter school became a PIAA member, allowing student-athletes to compete in varsity sports against area public, private, and charter schools. The December 8 basketball game will mark the charter school’s first matchup as a PIAA District 11 member.
Construction on the school’s new state-of-the-art gymnasium is currently in progress. The first basketball game to be held in the gymnasium will be on January 29 against Lincoln Leadership Academy.
