Barbecue and Wine: A Good Combination for Live Music Movement Foundation
Live Music Movement Foundation hosts its first wine and food pairing event and announces the next holiday concert.
Spring, TX, December 07, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Live Music Movement Foundation hosted a wine tasting and food-pairing event earlier in November; Discover a Taste of Barbecue an Award Winning Wines.
The exclusive event was an opportunity for LMMF supporters to socialize in an intimate setting and further build relationships. One of the goals of LMMF is to build a strong, supportive audience to appreciate live music. This event allowed the organization to move in that direction as guests indicated they felt they had a chance to get to know each other better during the evening.
The event featured a wine bar with six exquisite wines that were accompanied by cheese and fruit platters and a delicious selection of smoked meats, which included chicken and beef bites and appetizer sized smoked ribs and was paired with the crowd favorite, Chardonnay. Guests also enjoyed macaroni and cheese, dirty rice, and green beans. The meal was finished with a decadent peach cobbler and was paired perfectly with a Pinot Noir. After the wine and food tastings, Pianist Barry Sams provided the guests with enchanting musical selections from rhythm and blues to jazz.
The wine tasting and food-pairing event allowed LMMF to work with and support small businesses that helped make the event a success. Wine Steward Amy Antoine-Harrison provided selections from One Hope Wine. The winery is committed to supporting nonprofit organizations. Each bottle of wine purchased returned a donation to Live Music Movement Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Hoot’s Smokehouse Catering provided the assortment of smoked meats, side dishes, and dessert and has been a constant supporter of LMMF.
Following this successful event, Live Music Movement Foundation is thrilled to announce the Holiday Jazz Party with Leslie Drayton and Friends. Leslie Drayton will present original music along with holiday favorites during an Evening of Jazz. The concert will be presented at Du Vin Pintor, a new and exciting venue for LMMF.
