About the Author
Evangeline Ngozi Omini lives with her husband and her wonderful children who were born in Ireland. Evangeline’s sublime grown-up children have gone to live independently.
She is a lawyer by profession, but her main occupation is writing. She started writing officially in 1992 as a journalist (columnist) in the National Light Newspapers, Awka, Anambra State, Nigeria.
When Evangeline first came to Ireland in 1998, she was selected among thousands of refugees and asylum seekers to write a speech and deliver it at the Official Welcoming of Refugees in Ireland, on the 13th of January 1999.
Her role as a wife, a mother, a childminder, a student, a businesswoman, a care worker, a writer and eventually a lawyer earned her the nickname - "Prolific Multi-Task Mom."
