Bricks LA LEGO® Fan Event Coming to Pasadena, CA
Join brick fans and builders this weekend for the fifth annual Bricks LA LEGO® fan convention.
Pasadena, CA, December 28, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Bricks LA is proud to bring the fifth annual LEGO® fan convention to the Pasadena Convention Center (300 E Green St, Pasadena, CA 91101) January 5th & 6th, 2019. Brick fans of all ages are welcome to join the festivities with over 19,000 square feet of display space including custom made models, vendors (with new, used, and vintage LEGO® sets, mini figures, jewelry, unique brick accessories, and more), and the new Creativity Zone with an expanded play area where kids and adults can let their building creativity run wild.
With hundreds of fan built LEGO® models inspired by comics, movies, pop culture, and classic themes such as Space and Town, there is something for the whole family to enjoy! Admission is only $5 and kids 5 and under are free. Public exhibit hours are Saturday January 5th from 9am to 5pm and Sunday January 6th from 9am to 4pm.
“We are thrilled to have several new panels and presentations for public attendees this year as well as a larger play area and more interactive play opportunities for kids of all ages,” noted convention owner Ayleen Dority. “Builders are also available all weekend to meet and greet fans on the exhibit floor, but having panels and activities gives aspiring builders a chance to ask questions and learn from the pros.”
VIB registration is still open for AFOLs (Adult Fans Of LEGO®) who would like to participate in the private portion of the event and display their LEGO® creations for the public. Registering as a Very Important Builder allows exclusive access to participate in the private events, games, and giveaways throughout the weekend. Plus, you can meet, hang out with, and make friends with fellow LEGO® enthusiasts from all over the Southern California region and beyond.
