National Flex Football & Mechanicsville Braves Have Teamed Up to Bring Flex Football to Maryland
Flex Football is a 9v9, controlled-contact, non-tackle game that is inspired from its founders' NFL experience during high-tempo, low-impact practices.

NFX SOUTHERN MARYLAND will operate in multiple cities throughout Maryland, and offer Flex Football™ leagues to players 5 - 15 years of age.
Flex Football™ is the modernized 9v9 game format, created to be the safer, cheaper, and more exciting alternative to both tackle football and flag football. Flex teaches players the fundamentals of football, while drastically reducing exposure to impact collisions and removing tackling altogether.
The Mechanicsville Braves are spear-heading the Flex movement in Maryland, making Mechanicsville the first city in the entire DMV region to launch a Flex Football™ league.
The inaugural NFX SOUTHERN MARYLAND Spring 2019 season will open on March 24th and run for 7 weeks, culminating in a final state-wide NFX Championship Flex Tournament on May 11 & 12, 2019.
