Meadows Bank Increases Rate on IOLTA Funds to Support Organizations That Provide Low or No-Cost Legal Aid
Las Vegas, NV, January 08, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Meadows Bank, Member FDIC, announced that it has raised the interest rate paid on IOLTA Funds (Lawyers Trust Accounts). The earned interest from the Interest on Lawyers Trust Account (IOLTA) program is an important source of funding for the organizations supported by the Nevada Bar Foundation, helping to deliver access to justice for Nevada’s low income population.

The majority of Nevada’s IOLTA funds are awarded to organizations with programs that provide direct, legally-related services to the poor, victims of domestic violence, senior citizens, children protected by or in need of protection by the juvenile court, and other persons who may be denied access to justice for other reasons.
