Michigan Association for Female Entrepreneurs to Lead a Delegation of Women Entrepreneurs to Bangkok, Thailand
Detroit, MI, January 24, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Michigan Association for Female Entrepreneurs (MAFE), a Detroit-based non-profit organization supporting women entrepreneurs in Michigan, and the MAFE Leadership Institute will lead a delegation of 12 women entrepreneurs from Michigan to Thailand to attend the 10th Annual Women’s Leadership and Empowerment Conference taking place March 1-3, 2019 in Bangkok.
Organized by Tomorrow People Organization, the Women’s Leadership and Empowerment Conference is a highly exciting and challenging international conference that provide women leaders with a global platform for discussion and the exchange of best practices and knowledge on leadership.
This premier event draws women leaders and delegations from around the world including, government officials and policy makers, international NGOs, industry representatives, educational leaders, graduate students, researchers, business professionals and entrepreneurs representing over 40 countries.
The Women’s Leadership and Empowerment Conference provides unlimited resources and opportunities for Michigan women business owners to interact with prominent women (and men) across multiple industry sectors to exchange ideas, build collaborative business partnerships with international organizations, and grow their global network.
In addition to attending the three-day conference, the Michigan delegation will also meet with local NGOs supporting women and girls in Thailand; participate in group projects to support disadvantaged children; attend networking events with local women organizations such as the American Women’s Club of Thailand and Business and Professional Women (BPW) International; and engage in round table discussions with business organizations including the US-ASEAN Business Council and American Chamber of Commerce in Thailand to learn about business opportunities in the country.
The delegation represents a variety of industry sectors including education and training, consulting, travel and tourism, technology, consumer goods and creative industries.
