In Celebration of the Upcoming National Handwriting Day, Kaligo Goes International

London, United Kingdom, January 25, 2019 --(PR.com)-- 2019 promises to be an eventful year for Kaligo, the French start-up which created a digital writing application using a tablet and stylus. The international version of Kaligo in English, adapted to the British curriculum will be followed by the launch of exercises exclusively designed for children with Dyslexia (September 2019).

Since January 2018, the technical engineers at Learn&Go have collected more than 12,000 hand written scripts from schools across the United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates and United States. The team has also carried out a number of interviews with educational experts in order to develop the first ever version of the writing application adapted to the British education system.

Handwriting is taught differently in each country and can also differ by each school and classroom. A child in the United Kingdom won’t write the letter "a" the same way as a child would in France. The challenge is to truly enable the application to be localised and personalised based on the practical requirements of each individual teacher.

The launch of Kaligo in English speaking countries has been positively received with the nomination of Kaligo as a finalist for the BETT Awards 2019 (23/26 January 2019) as well as the GESS Awards (Dubai, 24/26 February 2019).
