United Way Opens Applications on January 28th for 2019-2020 Community Fund Grants
Poughkeepsie, NY, January 26, 2019 --(PR.com)-- United Way of the Dutchess-Orange Region invites nonprofits serving Dutchess & Orange counties in the areas of health, education, financial stability and veterans’ service to apply for grants from its Community Fund. Applications open on January 28th with final submissions by March 8th.
Grant applications are accepted online unitl Friday, March 8that 5:00pm. For information and to apply, go to www.uwdor.org/apply-grant. There is a mandatory webinar for applicants on February 13that 11am. Additional information and a registration link also is available at www.uwdor.org/apply-grant.
Last year, 47 programs in our region, covering a wide range of areas, that include youth programs, food access, crisis funding, healthy relationships, veterans issues and more were supported by United Way.
These programs are funded through donations to United Way’s workplace campaigns and by individual gifts. To show your support, go to www.uwdor.org/donate.
