About Buddy Durbin
Buddy Durbin has over 40 years experience as a singer, musician and entertainer for Buddy Durbin Music and Entertainment in North Carolina. He is responsible for singing, playing guitar, writing music and performing impersonations.
Born on December 2, 1951 in Kentucky, Buddy began his music and acting career in 1957 when he learned to play guitar. He traveled nationally with his grandfather performing at fairs, festivals, clubs and other venues including TV and radio. Mr. Durbin acted in 9 major TV Western series. At the age of 16, he was contracted to perform in Las Vegas at a casino, where he performed for a number of years. Mr. Durbin then moved to Nashville and worked as a musician before moving to Texas in 1970, where he worked in supper clubs and private parties. He continued as a character actor, extra and stunt driver for films. In 1980, Mr. Durbin began performing impersonations of famous artists from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. He continued singing and performing throughout the country and continues doing so today.
Mr. Durbin has published a film script and songs and has recorded a CD and a video series. In his spare time he enjoys music and computer art.
