In Gregsport, Anna meets Jake, and over time she she falls in love him. Soon she is befriended by several people from Jake's past, but she wonders if they can be trusted. Anna learns that there are people in Gregsport trying to keep she and Jake apart -- and then quite mysteriously, Jake disappears. Who wants Anna Reynolds out of Jake's life forever? Regardless of the danger, Anna searches for her lost love, and she vows to find a way to be together with him, even if it means someone has to die.
Says author Barraugh, "I have never had any formal training in writing, but I have always had a love for it. Growing up I had a very active imagination and loved to tell tall tales to my siblings and friends. They knew my stories weren't true, but they sat and listened and enjoyed every word I said."
Shortly after her father passed away, Barraugh wrote about him and all the great memories she had in an effort to deal with her grief. Adds Barraugh, "My family enjoyed by stories about him, and that's when I started thinking about writing my first novel. Gregsport has elements of both mystery and romance in it that is sure to keep my readers intrigued to the very end."
