Boston Chosen as Location for TMG Consulting’s 2019 Utility Forum
Austin, TX, February 02, 2019 --(PR.com)-- TMG Consulting announced that its 2019 Utility Forum will be held September 30 to October 1, in Boston.
The 2019 event will be hosted by National Grid, an electricity and natural gas delivery company that serves nearly seven million customers in the Northeast, and will take place at the Boston Marriott Cambridge.
This news comes on the heels of another successful conference this past October, TMG Utility Forum, Managing Disruption 2018.
“The sessions were extremely in-depth and included topics such as agile, cloud, AMI strategies, customer experience and digital channels, alongside significant practical information. That said, our 2019 event will be even better,” said Mario Bauer, CEO, TMG Consulting.
Managing Disruption 2018 hosted more than 100 attendees during 26 panel sessions, presentations, fireside chats, and round table discussions. Nearly half of the attendees were utility professionals, including 10 executive-level participants.
Sessions explored enterprise IT replacement project best practices; the emerging role of AI, Blockchain and automation in utility operations and customer service; smart grid optimization best practices; cybersecurity in the cloud; and regulatory recovery avenues for cloud investments.
“This was my second year attending the TMG Utility Forum. TMG’s intimate approach was the key to its success. We had about 100 people at this year’s event, but they were the right 100 people,” said Christine Gonzales, program director, Southwest Gas. “I had all my peer utility executives at arm’s reach and couldn’t be happier with my overall experience. I’m already looking forward to Boston in 2019.”
TMG was joined by its partner sponsors: Advanced Utility Systems, Cayenta, Cogsdale, HCL, Infosys, KloudGin, Milestone Utility Services, Oracle, Red Clay Consulting, SAP, Systems and Software, Utegration, and Vertex.
