RELYANT Global Awarded $2.6M California Wildfire Disaster Recovery Task Order Under Omaha SDVOSB RDI Contract
RELYANT Global, LLC (RELYANT) was awarded a Task Order under the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Omaha District’s Rapid Disaster Infrastructure (RDI) Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) to support recovery efforts as a result of recent California Wildfires.
Maryville, TN, February 13, 2019 --(PR.com)-- RELYANT Global, LLC (RELYANT) was awarded a Task Order under the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Omaha District’s Rapid Disaster Infrastructure (RDI) Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) to support recovery efforts as a result of recent California Wildfires. The contract will provide all civil work required to develop temporary housing sites in the County of Butte, California. Central to the execution of this time-critical disaster relief contract is the provision of temporary-infrastructure and construction planning, which will result in fully built-up sites to accommodate the delivery of approximately 37 Manufactured Housing Units to serve as temporary housing for survivor families.
The California Wildfire, which was widely referred to as the "Camp Fire," began in Butte County on November 8, 2018, and continued to burn until November 25, 2018; in total burning 185,000 acres, destroying 20,000 structures in Butte County alone, and displacing approximately 12,000 families.
