Marlborough Ranks Among the 10 Best Boston Suburbs for 2019

Marlborough, MA, February 17, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Location ranking website HomeSnacks.com has named the City of Marlborough among the 10 Best Boston Suburbs for 2019. The city also ranked as the 12th Best Place to Live in Massachusetts, 44th Best Place to Raise a Family in Massachusetts and 22nd Most Diverse City in Massachusetts. The Commonwealth itself placed second among the Best States to Live in 2019, after New Hampshire.
Marlborough ranked ninth overall among the best Boston suburbs, scoring an 8.5 out of 10 for jobs, safety, amenities and education, and 9 out of 10 for housing.
According to HomeSnacks.com, the website combines recent data from the Census, FBI, OpenStreetMaps, and dozens of other sources into bite-sized studies to help its visitors understand what it’s like to live in different communities across the country.
“It’s great to see that ranking sites are using official data to demonstrate what we’ve know all along: Marlborough is a great place to live,” said Marlborough Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) Executive Director, Meredith Harris. “Our city certainly offers a great variety of jobs and an excellent education system, both of which make it an ideal place for working families and young couples looking for a place to settle down.”
In November 2018, personal finance website WalletHub named Marlborough among the top 20% of the Best Small Cities to Live in America and ranked the city 51st in education out of more than 1,200 communities.
