2019 USASBE Excellence in Entrepreneurship Award Recipients Announced
Whitewater, WI, February 22, 2019 --(PR.com)-- The United States Association of Small Business and Entrepreneurship (USASBE) celebrated its annual USASBE Excellence in Entrepreneurship Awards Program and honored educators, innovators, researchers, and leaders in entrepreneurship education. The event was held at the TradeWinds Island Grand Resort in St. Pete Beach, Florida.
2019 USASBE Awards Chair, Dr. Ethné Swartz, Professor of Information Management and Entrepreneurship at the Feliciano School of Business, Montclair State University, shared that, “It was a labor of love to review submissions and quite challenging for the judges to choose the winners given the high quality of submissions. The winners can be justly proud of their achievements and we look forward to working with them in the future.”
The Excellence in Entrepreneurship Awards are the only awards of its caliber which recognize bold innovations, significant achievement and high quality in their respective categories.
USASBE proudly announces the recipients of the 2019 Excellence in Entrepreneurship Education Awards:
- USASBE Excellence in Co-Curricular Innovation awarded to Daniel Holland and Michael Glauser, Jon M. Huntsman School of Business, Utah State University
- USASBE Excellence in Pedagogical Innovation awarded to Debbi Brock and Nik Martin, Wingate University
- USASBE Emerging Program - awarded to Florida State University, Jim Moran School of Entrepreneurship
- USASBE National Model Program awarded to University of Missouri- Kansas City’s Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovation and the Regnier Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation
“Over 650 diverse attendees from 308 universities and 30 countries came together to congratulate our very deserving award winners,” said Doan Winkel, Senior Vice-President of Programming at USASBE and the Director, Muldoon Center, and The John J. Kahl, Sr, Chair in Entrepreneurship at John Carroll University.
