Doherty brings extensive price-to-win and government industry expertise to support company’s growth objectives.
San Diego, CA, February 27, 2019 --(PR.com)-- TechFlow, a forward-thinking logistics and digital services solutions company, today announced that David Doherty has been hired as Vice President of Business Development for TechFlow Mission Support (EMI Services).
Mr. Doherty is a government services industry expert with more than 25 years serving the U.S. defense, civilian and commercial markets including extensive international experience. Prior to joining TechFlow, he co-founded a boutique management consulting firm to government contractors, Strategy to Win Consulting Group LLC. His firm supported more than 200 highly competitive U.S. Government pursuits since the company’s founding in April 2014 with a win rate of 73% resulting in more than $13 billion in single-award contracts for its clients.
From the beginning of his career, Mr. Doherty has been involved in identifying needs and assisting in finding best fit solutions. He started as a Requirements Analyst for the U.S. Public Health Service where he helped develop and improve software. He carried these skills over to SAIC where he served as a Research Director and an integrated member of SAIC’s Marketing and Proposal Center, Strategic Pricing Group, Mergers and Acquisitions and SAIC Venture Capital Corporation. His success in conducting primary and secondary competitive research and pricing analysis in support of capture plan development led to a continued career in price-to-win analysis. He subsequently held positions of increasing responsibility for companies such as Bearing Point, Raytheon and DynCorp International.
“David has already been working with us as a key consultant for the past 18 months,” said Anthony Aquino, President of TechFlow Mission Support (EMI Services). “We are ecstatic that we were able to convince him to come on board full-time as a TechFlow employee owner. As Vice President of TechFlow Mission Support, David will bring his extensive price-to-win and business development capabilities and expertise to support growth in Mission Support as well as assist on key bids throughout the company.”
